Test Cricket and Pakistan :(
Mon, 07/20/2009 - 10:58 — ShaadFirst of all, let me begin by apologizing for my absence during the past weeks. However, the cricket hasn’t really taken any breaks with three Test series’ being played simultaneously in the West Indies, England and Sri Lanka. Whoever came up with such a jam packed international itinerary must have their wires crossed. Cricket lovers (especially die hard ones, not the “instant cricket lovers”) were really disappointed as they had to choose which series to follow.

Mon, 05/25/2009 - 00:50 — Shaad
The day was beautiful, the sun was shining gloriously and the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying! Today was to be an exciting and thrilling final and boy didn’t it live up to the expectations? Earlier in the day, having won the toss, the Royal Challengers were off to a dream start getting the danger man, Adam Gilchrist out in the very first over by the man of the moment and the captain himself, Anil Kumble. The Challengers were then even more jubilant as they got Suman out for 10 and were staring at the scoreboard with 18/2.
Daredevils and CSK's first semi-finalists
Thu, 05/21/2009 - 01:14 — ShaadSo, already two teams are confirmed a semi-final birth. The Delhi Daredevils and the Chennai Super Kings are sitting pretty right at the top of the points table with 18 and 17 points respectively. On paper the Chennai Super Kings are the most powerful team, but at times their performances have appeared wanting. The team that is in form indeed are the Delhi Daredevils. They have managed to maintain a level of consistency and some thumping performances that I’m sure many gamblers would be putting their monies on them.

Too little, Too easy for Rajasthan Royals...!
Thu, 05/07/2009 - 19:10 — ShaadA brilliant bowling performance by the Rajasthan Royals ensured that the Royal Challengers Bangalore were restricted to a meager 106 in their allotted 20 overs. At the start of the game Shane Warne won the toss and elected to field first. They immediately put pressure on the Bangalore team and it paid off brilliantly as the Royal Challengers Bangalore crumbled and fell apart like nine pins. Amit Singh was the hero for the Rajasthan Royals with bowling figures of 4/19. Morne Morkel offered great support from the other end with some tight bowling and Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with notable figures of 3/10.
